Battle maps for tonight's session.

Describe a place. Gloam builds it in 3D, lights it by sun, torch or moon, and lays the grid. Export it for Foundry, Roll20 or Owlbear Rodeo in a minute.

Three places, made in seconds

A torchlit dungeon with a shrine, cells and a crypt on a square grid
Garrison dungeon by torchlight. Nine rooms, a shrine with braziers, walls on every grid line.
An autumn forest road crossing a stream on a log bridge
Autumn road at the ford. The stream, the bridge and the trees all at real size on 5-foot squares.
A village square at night with lamplight spilling from doors
Village square after dark. Lamps and doorways throw light that stops at the walls.

Walls, doors and lights come with the map

Hand-tracing walls in a virtual tabletop takes longer than the fight. Gloam knows where every wall, door and torch is, because it built them. Export a Universal VTT file and Foundry's importer places them for you.

From idea to table

  1. Describe it

“A flooded crypt with a cult shrine and a knight statue.” Or pick a dungeon, a forest road or a village.

  2. Set the scene

Change the light, the season, the size. Every map has a seed, so a link rebuilds it exactly.

  3. Take it to the table

Download a PNG or a Universal VTT file, or put the 3D view on a screen at the table.

Questions

Which virtual tabletops does it work with?

Any that takes an image: Foundry VTT, Roll20, Owlbear Rodeo, Fantasy Grounds, Talespire handouts. Universal VTT files import with walls and lights in Foundry (Universal Battlemap Importer), Arkenforge and EncounterPlus.

How big is a square?

Outdoor maps use 5-foot squares. Dungeons use the 2-metre stone bays the walls are built on, so every wall sits on a grid line. Each export names its pixels per square in the file name.

Can I sell maps I make?

With Pro or Lifetime, yes: on Patreon, in a module, wherever you like. Free maps are for your own table.

Where do the 3D models come from?

Every map is built from Polyfork's low-poly kits, at real-world size.

Can I cancel?

Any time, from Manage billing in the studio. Your exports stay yours.
